Who are we?

Modern Dental Group is a manufacturer and distributor of innovative dental solutions such as crowns, bridges and prosthetics. From its European headquarters in Alphen aan den Rijn, Modern Dental Europe operates as a distributor in 11 countries under the labels Permadental in Germany, Labocast in France and Elysee in the Netherlands, Denmark and Belgium, among others.

Dental technology is digitising at lightning speed. Improving and expanding our solutions and services is at the heart of our daily work, with the aim of supporting our customers in the best possible way. That means delivery reliability and quality. The coming years are all about consolidating and renewing the IT platform. The ambitious programme is looking for a proactive and hand-on Business Analyst / Automation Engineer within the Business Technology team.

The BT team is responsible for process improvements. The team conducts requirements analysis with the business and comes up with solutions. Low-code applications are developed and implemented by the BT Team. There is close cooperation with (pro-code) development teams when the change also affects other systems.

 What will you do?

As a Business Analyst / Automation Engineer, you will take digitisation to the next level. It’s up to you to ensure that we develop smart solutions so that the value chain from treatment room to dental laboratory (and back) is customer-oriented, fast and error-free.

It has to be simple and fast, so digital!

You improve, simplify and automate logistical, financial and customer processes by developing (or having developed) self-service portals and apps (with AI-driven bots), process automation with low-code RPA – and system integrations with third parties, such as contact administration and ERP. You analyse processes and user requirements and translate these into process improvements. Of course, you guide users during the implementation of your solution, so that your improvement yields optimal returns. Monitoring and improving your solution is also your responsibility.

Innovation, such as AI, is of course part of this, and we don’t have to explain the importance of data to you. Within the platform, we use low-code and pro-code solutions from Google, Mendix and Kofax/Tungsten, among others. The transformation to cloud infrastructure is in full swing. In short, a broad position to grow into!

 What do we ask of you?

– HBO/WO working and thinking level and at least 3 years’ work experience;

– Diploma in IT/Technical/Business Administration;

– A digital mindset, eager to learn, inventive and solution-oriented;

– Lean process management, Agile/scrum working method

– Collaborative, as you consult a lot with the business (which is all over Europe) and IT;

– Knowledge of low-code process automation, Kofax/Tungsten RPA;

– Programming in, for example, Python or PHP (and SQL);

– A good command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written.

What we offer:

– Salary €3,000 – €4,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours)

– 25 holidays (based on 40 hours)
