Clinical data from your intraoral scanner is used to digitally design and then 3D print the desired occlusal splint with the use of Keysplint soft material. This revolutionary material is hard enough to assure your patient of a comfortable and durable device.
The Forma Adapt Splint® has many advantages over regular splints; the use of IOS that promises highly accurate results.
The splint is made of biocompatible material which protects against cracking and staining during wear. The splint molds to the patient’s dental arch.
What scans do you need to submit to produce the Forma Adapt Splint®?
Only 3 scans are required to produce the Forma Adapt Splint®:
- A scan of the dental arch upper jaw
- A scan of the dental arch of the lower jaw
- VDO bite registration (leaf gauges technique)
