What will you do?
As the Manager DSO Business at the world’s leading dental laboratory, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding strategic relationships with Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) in Europe. Based at our European headquarters in Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands, you will manage end-to-end business operations in cooperation with our country organisations tailored to large-scale dental group clients, ensuring alignment between their clinical workflows and our lab’s capabilities. This is a high-impact leadership role that bridges strategic account management, commercial development, and operational excellence.

 

Your tasks will include:

  • Strategic Account Management: Serve as the primary executive liaison for major DSO partners, ensuring long-term growth, client satisfaction, and retention.
  • Operational Integration: Design and optimize workflows that integrate DSO clinical operations with lab production, digital case submissions, and logistics.
  • Business Development: Identify and drive growth opportunities within existing and new DSO partnerships, including customized product solutions, pricing models, and service packages.
  • Collaboration with Product & Lab Teams: Work closely with R&D, production, and logistics teams to tailor solutions that meet DSO-specific clinical and operational needs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for service agreements, pricing structures, and performance guarantees with large DSOs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs, monitor account performance, and implement strategies to improve turnaround time, quality, and customer experience.
  • Industry Insight: Stay abreast of trends in group dentistry, dental technology, and the competitive landscape to position the lab as a premier partner to DSOs.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Build and manage a team of regional DSO account managers and operational support staff as needed.

 

What do we ask from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) or senior dental technician or dentist
  • 7–10+ years of experience in the dental industry, preferably with exposure to both lab operations and group practice (DSO) models.
  • Proven track record in managing strategic B2B relationships, preferably in a healthcare or dental manufacturing/lab setting.
  • Deep understanding of dental clinical workflows, lab processes, and digital dentistry technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40%).
